I had read so many great reviews about this knife and was quite excited to receive it. It's the first "high" grade knife I've owned. I spend several hrs in the kitchen on weekends and began to notice a sore spot on my index finger close to the joint when I used the knife. I realized the handle was so small I was gripping hard to hold it. I laid it down and grabbed my cheap large chef knife (from Sams Club (white handle 2/pack)). What a difference, it did not hurt my hand. Very disappointed, will be giving it to my 18 yo daughter.
