Received the Chinese Cleaver as a Christmas gift to help complete my set of type 301 knives. The cleaver is beautiful and lightweight. It is perfect for chopping veggies. It is not a cleaver that you would use to chop through bone or for heavy uses as it does not have enough weight to it. It is perfectly balanced and the handle is very comfortable without all the additional wood or plastic that is used on most knives. Easier to keep clean and sharpens up amazingly well with the Chroma 301 wet stone. Awesome knives!
